We created AIKU SERIES, a new fiction experience for smartphone.

Born in 2017, Story Island is a startup on an exciting journey to create new formats of phone shows merging TV series and Social media.

We are a team of professionals from film and TV series industry and social media world. We work with talented creators from all over the world to built the next generation of mobile content.

Story Island is also part of OMGmother, a consultancy collective that focuses on Branding & Innovation.

Gaëlle Chainieux

COO & Partner

During her 15 year-experience in managing digital projects at CELSA, a Graduate School in the fields of information and communication sciences part of Paris-Sorbonne University Group, Gaelle worked on various UX and UI digital projects as well as global Social Media strategies. She graduated from the Sorbonne University with a master degree in Arts & Humanities.

Emmanuelle Rey Magnan

Founder & CEO, Creative Producer

After her Film Production studies at U.C.L.A and her first job at CAROLCO PICTURES in Los Angeles, Emmanuelle made her career outbreak as an author for French television. Since more than fifteen years now, she keeps on inventing new sagas, thrillers, shows for the French TV.She is the creator and author of the famous Tv series « CLEM » broadcasted since 2010 on TF1 (6M viewers on average). Emmanuelle is also the authors and creator of the new French modern series « On Va S’aimer, un peu, beaucoup… » broadcasted on France 2. In 2017, Emmanuelle creates Story Island Ltd. With her team, she is now developing projects merging fiction and digital. And the «aïku» project started from here.

Capucine Tavoillot

Production Manager

Capucine joined Story Island Ltd when she moved to London. She started as an Agent assistant in «Agence Lise Arif» after graduating from the Film School E.S.E.C in Paris. Alongside, she directed several short films and worked as a freelance casting director in both France and UK. She’s also a faithful member of the «Association Des Jeunes Cinéastes Indépendants».

Pilar Cartró Benavides

Production Manager

Once completed her BBA in ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Pilar went on to specialise in Film Production with a Master from the Northern Film School. Since then she has produced several short films featured in diverse festivals, and produced other commercial content.
